This suburban apartment complex had a courtyard swimming pool and community living room that suffered from an abject lack of warmth and charm and, not surprisingly, an almost total lack of use.
The complex’s owners retained McInturff Architects and Added Dimensions to reorganize and update the building’s common space in order to inject a palpably modern, energetic vibe, balanced with an aura of intimacy that encourages interaction among residents.
