This iconic independent bookstore is a much loved neighborhood institution.
Equally loved but with all the charm of a suburban rec room crossed with a dowdy college apartment living room, the bookstore’s coffeehouse desperately needed a makeover. We worked with McInturff Architects to enlarge the coffeehouse and add an element of warmth and earthy elegance. The renovation has been a huge hit with the bookstore’s loyal clientele who love the low key charm of the remodeled space.
