This house is a testament to the importance of enthusiasm in the construction process.
What began as a thoroughgoing (but restrained) renovation morphed into a joyful exploration of the limits of possibility (even if it did involve the moving and rebuilding of a handful of walls). In the end, the marriage of Robert Gurney’s design and the homeowner’s passion results in a home filled with eye-catching details that truly enhance the elegant space.
