The owners wanted to relocate from the suburbs to a location in the District.
After purchasing a piece of property near the reservoir, they retained Grupo7 Architecture to design a contemporary home that made a strong visual statement while facilitating casual living around a serene courtyard and swimming pool. The house is remarkably warm and inviting while providing the privacy that comes with separating the master bedroom from the other living spaces.
