Working with McInturff Architects, we transformed a single story, mid-century contemporary into an iconic home that routinely leaves passers-by gawking.
The exterior of the house is a playful combination of corrugated aluminum siding running both horizontally and vertically and painted cement board panels in colors evocative of Richard Diebenkorn’s Ocean Park paintings. The interior is oriented toward city-owned forest land at the rear of the property with floor to ceiling windows flooding both public and private spaces with natural light.
