The owners asked KUBE Architecture to help redesign their home on a pastoral 5-acre site in suburban Virginia.

The existing house was comprised of an upper and a lower house, with a glass link connecting the two and serving as the main entrance. We took on the complete renovation of the lower house, inserting a steel frame to allow for a completely open interior and a 20-foot-tall wall of glass. The renovated space provides dramatic views of the site from all  the major shared spaces of the house.
